Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Mohamed Salah is ‘our player’ amid reports of a blockbuster switch to Saudi Arabia. Al-Ittihad are reportedly interested in making the Egyptian forward the latest in a long line of high-profile stars to move to the Saudi Pro League.
Reports have claimed that there is very strong interest from the reigning Saudi champions and that Salah would be tempted by the transfer. However, it is unlikely that Liverpool will accept a deal this close to the transfer window.
Klopp said: “There is nothing to talk about from our point of view. We don’t have an offer. Mo Salah is our player. If there was something there, the answer would be ‘no’.”
