Football Digest: Arsenal v Man Utd preview
The Sidemen Charity Match kicks off this afternoon at the London Stadium. Last year, Sidemen FC beat the YouTube All Stars 8-7 at Charlton Athletic’s The Valley and raised £2million for charity.
But the group’s popularity has meant they have had to upgrade to West Ham’s 62,500-seater this year in order to make space for their rampant fan base. Tickets flew off the shelves at an exponential rate and the event is now sold out but you can still watch the game online.
Live stream and TV channel
The Sidemen Charity Match is being streamed live on YouTube via the official Sidemen channel. Last year, it received 34 million views. All of the action can be viewed via YouTube’s app and website on all good internet-connected devices including smart TVs, laptops and mobile phones.
Kick-off time
The official kick-off time is yet to be confirmed although it is likely it will happen at the same time as last year, 3pm. YouTuber Elz The Witch and rapper and TV personality Big Zuu will host the match.

Quotes
Zerkaa: “This is a major milestone for us. When we first set up this event back in 2016, we never thought we’d be playing in a stadium of over 62,000 people. Not only are we able to give back to our loyal fans, but being able to raise further funds for charities that are so close to our hearts give us a lot to be proud and thankful for. We can’t wait to see all of you in September.”
