Jadon Sancho told not to use first team facilities
Jadon Sancho has been omitted from Manchester United’s squad photo for the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign as rumours continue to swirl that the 23-year-old could leave Old Trafford in January. First-team players gathered together at the Carrington training centre for their annual squad photo but Sancho was nowhere to be seen.
This comes after the Englishman was relegated to the under-21s after a public falling out with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag. Sancho accused Ten Hag of lying about the reasons behind him not being picked to play in United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal last month – which the Dutchman took exception to.
Ten Hag told assembled media that Sancho had not made his squad due to “poor performances” in training. But Sancho insisted this was not the case. Firing back via X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
