United won the game 3-0, with Keane saying his former side ‘have a little bit of their swagger back’ after a tough run

Keane is known for his straight-edge approach to punditry, often saying it as he sees it even if it means his words are stern.

He has gained plaudits for his traditional view of football, and appeared frustrated on this occasion that the fan was filming him rather than watching the game.

Keane can be seen trying to wave the camera away as the footage zooms in on him in the studio, before he points to the pitch the gesture that there is a match going on.

He then points to the camera and back to the pitch as frustration appeared to grow for the Irishman.

After the game, however, Keane unusually shows high praise for United, insisting the performance points to the club moving in a positive direction again.

‘It’s about their attacking players producing at important moments. United haven’t been scoring enough goals this season.

‘They [Everton] can argue all day, its a penalty, he’s left his leg in there. Martial, I’m not his biggest fan, but he’s positive.

‘It was nice to see Marcus take it and lash it in. When the second one goes in, its game over. United have a little bit of their swagger back, definitely.’
