Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning goal scoring return in the month of September has seen him named Saudi Pro League Player of the Month. 

The 38-year-old bagged an impressive five goals and three assists to take his league-leading tally to 10 for the season after just seven games. 

Ronaldo’s form has helped Al-Nassr achieve six wins from their opening eight games which sees them sit in fourth place in the competitive division.

The Portuguese great has already netted more times this term than he did during his debut campaign in Saudi Arabia. 

Ronaldo also continues to produce the goods for the national team and is Portugal’s leading scorer in Euro 2024 qualifying with five goals.

The 38-year-old is joined by an all star cast at the Riyadh-based Saudi Pro League side 

Ronaldo is joined by the likes of Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles and Aymeric Laporte in the capital as the side look to go one better than their second-place finish last term. 

The former Real Madrid striker’s September exploits look even more impressive after he claimed the POTM gong in August. 

The deadly marksman hit five goals in the campaign’s opening month and laid on a further two assists for his teammates as Al-Nassr recovered from a slow start to rise up the table. 

Ronaldo and Co welcome Abha on Friday night looking for a seventh straight win that could take them to the summit.
