Michael Owen believes Jurgen Klopp will have ‘slight concerns’ following Liverpool’s 3-1 win over LASK in the Europa League after the Reds were forced to come from behind to win for the fourth time this season.

Florian Flecker gave the Austrian side a shock first-half lead in the group stage opener in Linz.

Flecker’s superb strike meant a much changed Liverpool had fallen behind in four of their last five matches.

Darwin Nunez drew the Reds level from the penalty spot, before Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah struck to ensure Klopp’s side began the Europa League with a victory.

Former Liverpool striker Owen, speaking on TNT Sports, suggested Klopp will been concerned by their tendency to fall behind despite recovering from setbacks to win matches against Bournemouth, Newcastle, Wolves and now LASK.

‘I think he will be slightly concerned,’ Owen said. ‘He will probably be looking at it like why has that happened?

‘Is it a coincidence or is it happening too much to draw some conclusions from it?

‘But the overriding feeling would be a bit of relief. It is a great first result getting three points away from home and you are in a really good position.

‘He will be delighted, but a few little concerns about why it is happening all the time.

‘But it is some character to keep coming back and go on and win.’

Liverpool will now turn their attentions to maintaining their unbeaten start to the Premier League season, a run which includes four wins and a draw.

Klopp’s side will host West Ham at Anfield on Sunday, with the visitors having also been in Europa League action on Thursday.
