Eddie Nketiah faces a late fitness test to see if he will be available for Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Sevilla, after missing training on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old picked up a knock during Arsenal’s first Premier League defeat of the season to Newcastle on Saturday.
Nketiah, after scoring a hat-trick a week prior at Sheffield United, was taken off with just over ten minutes to go against the Magpies on a disappointing day for the Gunners.
There are concerns that the Gunners could be light in attack on Wednesday night, with Gabriel Jesus already out of action.
Martin Odegaard, who was left out of the squad at the weekend due to injury, was also absent from training on Tuesday.

If Nketiah is absent, it could lead to Mikel Arteta selecting Leandro Trossard or Kai Havertz as his main striker at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville recently voiced his opinion over the Gunners finishing matches with Trossard – more known to be a winger – as a striker.
He said after Arsenal’s loss to Newcastle: ‘Arsenal have to do some business in January – they are ending the game with [Leandro] Trossard in attack.
‘I’ve said this after a few Arsenal games this season – Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah at centre-forward are both very good, but I’d like them to be my No.2 and No.3 strikers.’
Nketiah has scored five goals in 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
The Gunners could seal qualification from their Champions League group this evening if they beat Sevilla.
They picked up a narrow 2-1 victory against Sevilla two weeks ago, with Gabriel Martinelli and Jesus netting the goals for the Gunners.
