Newcastle United’s St. James’ Park will be a cauldron of excitement on Wednesday night when they embark on their first Champions League home match in 20 years.
The Magpies welcome Paris Saint-Germain on Matchday Two of their tantalising Group F.
Eddie Howe’s side earned a point a fortnight ago with a 0-0 draw at last season’s semi-finalists AC Milan.
And up next for them is the small matter of French giants PSG which boast the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Marquinhos among their ranks.
Mbappe will be the main threat for PSG and it has been revealed that one Newcastle player has refused to watch clips of him on TikTok ahead of their match.

The player in question? Jamaal Lascelles.
The centre back is back in Howe’s starting XI with first-choice centre back Sven Botman currently out injured.
Lascelles has helped contribute to a defence which has hasn’t conceded in seven hours and 50 minutes – keeping five-straight clean sheets along the way.
And speaking ahead of trying to make that six, Lascelles spoke about the threat of Mbappe.
‘Have I studied him? I already know how he plays because he has so many clips on TikTok! You see them all the time! Every time I look,’ as per the Mirror.
‘You want to play against him. It is something I dream of. There won’t be sleepless nights. It is just a massive opportunity for us. But I will stay off TikTok for a few days. He is probably the best player in the world. We have to be professional and get the job done.
‘I never dreamed of playing in the Champions League with Newcastle, because we were always in relegation battles and it has always been tough. Since the takeover and the manager coming in it has given us hope. Until then I never thought about it. It was unrealistic, wasn’t it?
‘It is exciting times for everyone involved. We don’t know what the team will be for PSG but we will all be ready and raring to go.’
