Liverpool have been handed a major injury worry after Andy Robertson was forced off during Scotland’s match against Spain with a suspected shoulder injury.
Robertson suffered the injury during the first half of the Euro 2024 qualifier in Seville.
The Scotland captain sustained the injury in a collision with Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon.
Robertson was treated be Scotland’s medical staff, but was forced to leave the pitch on the stroke of half-time with a suspected dislocated shoulder.
The 29-year-old full-back left the field with his arm in a makeshift sling, with Everton’s Nathan Patterson brought on as a substitute.

Scotland would seal qualification to Euro 2024 with a point against Spain or if Norway fail to beat Cyprus.
Steve Clarke’s side are also set to face France in a friendly next week.
Robertson has been an every present for Liverpool in the Premier League this season.
The injury will be a major concern for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of the Merseyside derby against Everton on October 21.
Should Robertson be ruled out of action, Kostas Tsimikas would be his likely replacement.
The Greece international signed a long-term contract extension last month having established himself as an important member of Klopp’s squad.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League after five wins, two draws and one defeat during an impressive start to the season.
