Kylian Mbappe may have to sack his own mother due to a rule change regarding agents.
Mbbape’s mum, Fayza Lamari, is one of her son’s representatives and was involved with his record-breaking move from Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017. She has been busy recently too, with Mbappe embroiled in a standoff with PSG over his future over the summer.
The Paris giants were keen for him to move on so they could recoup a transfer fee, with his contract due to expire next summer. Real Madrid are long-term admirers of the French superstar and are widely expected to sign Mbappe at some point.

However, Lamari, who has forged a reputation as a tough negotiator, may have to take a backseat during any future talks because of a significant rule change. According to Spanish outlet Marca, a new FIFA regulation will require all agents to be registered on the world governing body’s database of player representatives. Lamari is not currently on that list, which could prohibit her from representing any footballer, negotiating a contract and receiving any commission.
Mbappe’s row with PSG led to him being barred from training with the first-team squad in the summer. However, in a remarkable U-turn, he not only returned to the fold in August, he could even extend his PSG contract to 2025.
