Jurgen Klopp has insisted he is ‘completely over’ VAR’s terrible blunder in his side’s 2-1 loss to Tottenham.

Luis Diaz’s goal was wrongly disallowed on Saturday afternoon when referee Simon Hooper and the VAR room miscommunicated the outcome of an offside call.

Since then the PGMOL has released the audio commentary from the game after Liverpool requested it and it shows officials knew of their huge mistake immediately but still did not stop the game.

However Jurgen Klopp has now said he is past the decision and that his side have ‘have nothing to do with it anymore.’

Jurgen Klopp was so incensed by the decision he initially called for the game to be replayed

Diaz was clearly onside but a calamitous mistake between the ref and VAR saw it disallowed

Speaking in a pre-match interview before his side’s Europa League clash with Belgian side Union Saint-Gilliose Klopp insisted he was focussed on the game.

The German declared: ‘ Not at all, I think with the headlines unintentionally I created and with the press conference, I’m completely over it, it’s nothing so we don’t have it in our mind.

‘Its difficult to not have in your mind, you open something and its like oops it’s still something but we have nothing to do with it anymore.

‘Thats now other people who take care of that, and we are completely focussed.

‘The week started on Monday as far as I know and that means since then we are just focussed on this game.’

Liverpool beat Austrian side LASK 3-1 in their first group stage match of the Europa League and are looking to continue this form when facing Union.
