Carragher asked on Dancing On Ice but Sky Sports pundit would do different show

Jamie Carragher has been asked to do Dancing on Ice, but turned it down with the Liverpool legend only willing to do I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Carragher was appearing on the latest episode of Stick to Football, when Gary Neville joked he'd been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing. And the ex-Liverpool star responded: "Dancing on Ice, not Strictly, no way. I think the only one I would do is the Jungle. It's a brilliant TV show to watch, but it's completely different to do!"

Jill Scott, who was crowned as Queen of the Jungle in 2022, then added: "It's hard because you're literally sat like this for 16 hours if you don't go out for a trial!

Carragher responded with his position: "What I was saying was is it's a brilliant show to watch, it's funny. But is it boring being in there…"

Ian Wright, who also been on the show, said: "It's very boring, and the hunger… but there's a camaraderie in there!"

Carragher first revealed he had been asked to go on Dancing on Ice over the summer, when he told Chris Moyles: "Yeah we haven’t quite been asked to go on the jungle, we’re Dancing on Ice at the moment, that’s as far as we go."
