Alexis Mac Allister submitted an early contender for goal of the month on Sunday afternoon – when he fired home from 35 years, leaving Liverpool fans in awe.
The Reds welcomed Fulham to Anfield in the Premier League, and with the scores level at 1-1, the ball sat up perfectly for the Argentine. Mac Allister only had one thing on his mind: take a shot.
The ball rocketed into the top right-hand corner, sending Anfield into raptures. And Reds fans on social media have started to ask opposition fans if their DM can do that.

"That technique was out of this world," one fan responded. While a second said: "I literally shouted 'NO!' soon as I saw him shaping his body to shoot…"
"Alexis Mac Allister scores the most Steven Gerrard goal I've seen since Steven Gerrard," a third joked. And another added: "The greatest thing I've seen by a Mac Allister in December since Kevin made Harry and Marv's life a living hell!"

And the Argentine wasn't the only Reds star to net a wondergoal on Sunday, with Trent Alexander-Arnold opening the game with a delightful free-kick.
Alexander-Arnold was their standout performer last week against Manchester City, and he found the net again against the London-based side. From a similar range as Mac Allister, the full-back took aim from a dead-ball and hit the same corner as the Argentine.
Reds fans had barely had time to process Alexander-Arnold's strike when Mac Allister found the net.
