Alex Scott sported a borderline see-through dress at Wednesday's GQ Men of the Year award.
The former Arsenal and England football star, 39, is normally seen perched in front of the camera for a weekly episode of Football Focus or a regular appearance on The One Show. However, she swapped her classic smart-casual attire for a glamorous, grey dress on the red carpet.
The photographers and camera operators at the swanky ceremony held at the Royal Opera House in London, immediately made a bee-line towards her. But while the glistening and light-catching nature of her dress saw her stand out, fellow guests and fans found themselves double taking at her outfit.

Scott had also chosen to attend the ceremony without wearing a bra or an undershirt. The reason people realised that is because the top half of her outfit was borderline see-through.
The thin material holding the outfit together coupled with the feint colours in the dress resulted in her torso, shoulders and arms being clearly visible through the dress.

Her daring floor length gown was complete with a pair of ankle boots, which could also be seen through the lower part of her dress. It was a completely different look to what her fans and viewers of the BBC are used to.
Usually, Scott can usually be found on our television screens wearing long-sleeved jumpers, jackets and blazers. If she is presenting pitch-side, she may also wear a pair of smart trainers or comfortable boots, so she can control the occasional loose football which falls into her path.
Scott recently found herself having a surprise feud with former BBC presenter and host of Football Focus, Dan Walker. Scott did not take too kindly to social media comments made by the now Channel 5 presenter on the viewing figures of the Saturday lunch-time show, which, at the time of the feud, were falling.
Reports from the Daily Mail claimed they also had a heated exchange at the Legends of Football dinner in October, before ending the evening on amicable terms.
