Vin Diesel has got nothing on Anthony Joshua after the two-time world heavyweight champion took part in his own remake of 'Pitch Black'.
The boxing star headed into the wilderness and away from city life in a bid to reconnect with himself. And although four days in darkness was far from straightforward, 'AJ' professed surpassing these kinds of obstacles is 'where lions are made'.
And fans have been given their first glimpse at the conditions in which Joshua was forced to settle for 96 hours. That's after the friend with whom he undertook the task posted footage of their arrival at the site, which set the boxer back a princely £2,000 for the privilege.

Video shows the pair taking in their bunks, which appear to be cabins built into hillsides boasting close to no modern amenities. Joshua and his pal were in the United States – where AJ has based his training of late – to stay at the Sky Cave Dark Retreat in Southern Oregon.
And the Londoner 'looked lost' as he sat on a bed of rocks taking in his surroundings in one clip uploaded to Snapchat. Even Joshua admitted some difficulty at first, asking "why did I put myself in this situation?"

"BUT! This is where lions are made, know what I'm saying," said the recently turned 34-year-old. "This is where lions are made. Too many people are attached to the [inaudible], they don't wanna detach themselves.
"What I'm trying to do is showcase to myself that there's actually not much I need. I just need myself."
Joshua then gave props to his 'broski', without whom he said there 'ain't no way' he would have undertaken such a task alone. Joshua previewed the trip in a recent interview with Men's Health, where he expected it to be the 'worst thing ever' but more than worth it in the end.

He was then scheduled to face Dillian Whyte in August before a positive drugs test ruled out the latter, and replacement Robert Helenius suffered a stunning knockout defeat to AJ.
Rumours of a clash against Deontay Wilder are once again beginning to build as Joshua envisions a return to title contention. Joshua has even suggested he's open to fighting the American as part of the undercard for Tyson Fury's upcoming clash against Oleksandr Usyk.
