Emma Raducanu will face off against 17th seed Maria Zakkari in the US Open semi-finals in the next instalment of her sensational run at Flushing Meadows. The British teenager is yet to drop a set at the tournament so far, defying the odds by coming through two rounds of qualifying to battle all the way to the final four.
Last time out, the 18-year-old surpassed Olympic champion Belinda Bencic in convincing fashion, coming through 6-3 6-4.
In her five matches since the first round, Raducanu has only dropped 22 total games across 10 sets of action, illustrating how dominant she has been on each occasion.
On her incredible run of victories, she is breaking new bounds by becoming the first woman since 1990 to reach the fourth round in their first two majors.
In reaching the final four of the US Open, she has far surpassed that mark.

Raducanu’s name was first thrust into the spotlight earlier this summer, when she reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon after entering the tournament as a wildcard.
On that occasion, she fell short via a second-set retirement against Ajla Tomljanovic, but she has gone even further this time round.
Her deep runs at back-to-back Grand Slams have put her on the cusp of the world’s top 50, and she is set to be announced as the new British No 1.
Seventeeth seed Sakkari stands between her and the US Open final. Here is everything you need to know about where, when and how to watch their semi-final clash:
