‘Ole Out’ trending again sees Man Utd fans clash over manager and Glazers

Manchester United fans got ‘Ole Out’ trending on Twitter, clashing among themselves over criticism for the manager and for their owners the Glazers.

The Red Devils played out a dull 0-0 draw against Leeds at Elland Road, missing out on the chance to go eight points behind league leaders Manchester City.

It was the first game for the red side of Manchester following the fallout of the European Super League, with fans protesting against the breakaway league.

United’s owners the Glazers had come under fire, with a banner even being flown over the Leeds stadium calling for their exit.

But attention shifted to Solskjaer following the draw against rival Leeds, seeing the hashtag ‘Ole Out’ trend on Twitter.

And fans were split, with some calling for the boss – who has taken the side second in the Premier League and into the Europa League semi-finals – to be shown the door.

“Absolute joke and disgrace again and fans still support this clown as manager. No wonder we’re we are under management and owners is a joke, #OleOut,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “When new owners come in, these three needs to go away. We are not going to win title with these scrubs. #GlazersOut #OleOut”

While a third added: “Club legend, but his football is dire, where's the triangles, wheres the running in behind, where's the transition from defense to attack, and why why why is he not using VDB #OleOut.”

But others were left furious at the calls for Solskjaer’s departure.

A fourth added: “If you’re tweeting #OleOut go support someone else seriously it’s actually pathetic.
