Netherlands boss and former Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has lashed out at a reporter for comparing his side to Chelsea.
The 70-year-old has been back in the hot seat for Ons Oranje for just over a month, seven years after leaving the national side for Old Trafford.
His first two games have seen Holland draw 1-1 against Norway while they hammered Montenegro 4-0 on Saturday.
Van Gaal used a 4-4-2 in the game, which saw the Dutch pile pressure onto their opponents from the wide positions.
The manager had been criticised during his time at United for his playing style, with some arguing that it was too defensive.
But the Dutchman held nothing back when his tactics for the national side were questioned by a journalist.
Speaking about his approach to the next World Cup qualifier against Turkey on Tuesday, Van Gaal said: “Look at the [others] results.
“Look at Italy, [they are] European champions, [they] have now drawn twice.
“It's not all that easy. Defensive football has made its appearance and there is applause for that afterwards.”

Journalist Valentijn Driessen challenged this with: “But the one applauding is you. You also want to play like Chelsea and Liverpool.”
This is reference to the Blues’ success under Thomas Tuchel with a 3-4-2-1 to secure the Champions League, a feat the Dutch reported criticised.
And Van Gaal replied: “Is that defensive football, in your eyes?”
'It's what Chelsea do,' said Driessen.
But the 70-year-old then ripped into the journalist, yelling: “Not at all, Valentijn!”
“You have no idea at all. I'm sorry to say it, but you're just a journalist. You want to implement your vision, but you have no vision in football.
“You have a vision for the newspaper, fantastic. You attract attention, and so on.
“But with 5-3-2 or 5-2-3 you can attack incredibly well. Chelsea shows it every time, with different formations.
“And I take my hat off to Mr Tuchel, because he got in halfway through (last season).”
Despite van Gaal’s remonstrations, Driessen challenged the national manager again by responding: “So [in the] Manchester City [versus] Chelsea [match], did you enjoy Chelsea more than Manchester City?”
“Yes of course! You should read my book, because you probably won’t,” the manager retorted.
The journalist made another point to the 70-year-old, with: “But your first vision in your first book is at odds with your current vision.”
While Van Gaal finished off the conversation with: “Have you ever heard of evolution? I'm developing too and Memphis (Depay – sitting next to him at the press conference) is developing too. And me at the age of seventy.”
