Juventus are set to offer Mason Greenwood the chance to revive his career this summer.

The Serie A giants are looking to seal a long-term loan for the Manchester United forward, who hasn't kicked a ball since he was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and assault in January 2022.

The charges against him were dropped in February earlier this year but it's understood there are no plans to reintegrate the 21-year-old into the United squad, despite the fact he still has two years left on his £75,000-a-week contract.

According to The Sun, Juventus have already spoken to Greenwood's camp and are looking to seal a deal for him in the coming weeks amid interest from AC Milan, Roma and several clubs in Turkey.

The Old Lady hope that having Paul Pogba, a friend and former team-mate of Greenwood's, in their squad will give them the best chance of winning the race for his signature.

It's understood United aren't considering selling the youngster as they fear they won't be able to attract a sizeable enough fee, but in the event of a loan they will want Greenwood's wages covered in full.

The England international was suspended by the Red Devils following his arrest. He spent three nights in custody and appeared in court in November last year where a provisional trial date was set for November 2023, before the charges were dropped.

United later released a statement saying that while the decision to drop the charges had been "noted", the club would be "conducting its own process before determining next steps".

In March, The Athletic reported Greenwood was ready to 'run through brick walls' to get his playing career back on track.
