Manchester United are set to confirm two new youth transfers after securing deals for Marc Jurado and Alvaro Fernandez.

Jurado, 16, arrives from Barcelona, while Fernandez, 17, comes from fellow Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The teens landed in the UK earlier this week and are said to be quarantining with a local family at present in adherence to the Government travel guidelines concerning Covid-19.

Both players will go straight into United's youth setup when international clearance is finalised.

Jurado and Fernandez shared a snap together this week, pictured in United Adidas gear – wearing the training numbers 88 and 90 respectively.

Jurado all-but confirmed his move to United earlier this summer, replying to a post by Bruno Fernandes after the Europa League defeat to Sevilla.

“It wasn't what we expected. We wanted to be in the final and fight for the trophy we so desired. Whilst we congratulate Sevilla for making it to the final, we still played well and we didn't deserve to stop here," the United midfielder wrote.

“It is now time for rest and to reflect so that we come back even stronger and reach the goals we set ourselves for the next season!

“Thank you to all my teammates and staff who welcomed me so well over these past months at the Red Devils. I hope to continue to learn and grow everyday with you, and that we conquer many titles in the future!

“Together we loose (sic.), together we make mistakes and together we grow #MUFC.”

Jurado replied to the post and said: “We keep fighting” along with a muscle emoji.

The youngster has also changed his Instagram bio to read: "Manchester United player."

Both starlets play in defence and will be raring to show what they can do after their arrival in England.
