Manchester United have reportedly agreed agent fees and personal terms with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in the past 24 hours, according to Sky Sports.
The England international is United's top transfer target this summer but the move appeared to have stalled, with Dortmund holding out for £108m and publicly stating that Sancho was part of their plans for next season.
However, United have made a breakthrough in negotiations with the player and his agents but still need to agree a fee with Dortmund.
Speaking on The Transfer Show, Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth said: "I’ve been speaking to somebody close to a potential deal involving Jadon Sancho to Manchester United and in the past 24 hours there have been developments, and its potentially good news for Manchester United fans because the issue of agents fees and personal terms are no longer a problem, I’ve been told.
"Manchester United are remaining tight-lipped on these developments but it’s clear some good progress has been made on overcoming the problems of agent’s fees and wages.
"Now, we should also say here that we understand United remain very resolute and determined in not over paying for a player given he realities of the coronavirus pandemic.
"But, given this was the issue for the past two or three weeks, that Manchester United weren’t making a bid because they needed to sort out agents’ fees and personal terms for Sancho.

Dimitar Berbatov says Mason Greenwood must be punished – but Man Utd future still bright
"This appears to be some sort of a breakthrough for Manchester United because the agent’s fees and wages aren’t proving a problem anymore."
Former United striker Dimitar Berbatov recently gave his thoughts on the move, telling the Manchester Evening News that he expects the move to be dragged out towards the end of the window.
"If they're going to bring any new strikers – like they're connected with Sancho for a long time now – if that's going to happen probably we're going to find out in the last days of the transfer window," Berbatov said.
"Chelsea are doing some good business at the moment, they'll be challenging the top teams. We will find out who is going and who is staying in the last two or three days of the transfer window. Sancho is a good alternative if it's not too much money to spend on that signing, [then] go for it."
