Man Utd and Jadon Sancho come to ‘full agreement’ over contract

Manchester United and Jadon Sancho have come to a full agreement over a contract.

The Red Devils have made the England international a top target this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to solve his right-hand problem.

Sancho has had a brilliant season in the Bundesliga, scoring 17 and assisting 17 as well in the league.

A number of clubs were interested but United have been leading the chase.

However, they have ran into problems when negotiating with Borussia Dortmund, who first incensed the Red Devils by insisting contact was made through intermediaries.

The Bundesliga outfit have also demanded £110m – a number that Ed Woodward is struggling to come to terms with.

But terms between Sancho and United have gone swimmingly after an agreement was reached.

According to UtdReport, the 20-year-old has agreed an 'important' deal with the Old Trafford outfit.

Though the details have yet to be announced, it is believed he would be made one of the top earners at the club.

However, meeting Dortmund's asking price remains a completely different task – and one they have yet to crack.

Woodward is working on other avenues to pay for the deal including add-ons and bonuses.

But the Signal Iduna Park outfit are only interested in the full payment.

United have ramped up their transfer efforts following their exit from the Europa League.

Sevilla, who went on to beat Inter Milan in the final, triumphed over Solskjaer's side in the semi-final.

And Wes Brown reckons Sancho is the answer as the Norwegian coach bids to take United back to the top.

The former defender told Sky Sports: “We’ve got some young, exciting attacking players but Sancho would be another layer of the cake.

“He’s exciting, he’s young, he can score goals and is good with assists. If they can get that done it would be perfect.

“United can always improve. The defence, midfield; the more competition going on all over the field, the better the team becomes.”
