Lucas Moura has urged Tottenham Hotspur to hold on to Harry Kane amid rumours of a world-record £200million transfer to Manchester United.
The England captain is contracted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until 2024 but recently hinted during an Instagram Live that he may leave his boyhood club in the future.
The 26-year-old has also struggled with a thigh muscle injury this season, though he has shown some of his best form when fit – scoring 17 goals and providing two assists in 25 appearances to attract the attention of the Red Devils.
However, Spurs teammate Moura – who has played alongside Kane for two years – is desperate for the club to hold on to their talisman.
The Brazilian opened up to Sky Sports about the transfer rumours, saying: “It's hard to speak about the future, about a negotiation because it's a personal decision.
“I'm sure that every season Tottenham receive offers for Harry Kane. It's not me who has to decide, but of course I want to play with him in the next season.
"I want to stay with him because he's very important for us and it's not easy to find a player like him. Everyone knows he's a big player. He's very important for us, he's our striker and scores almost every game.
