Liverpool approach Camavinga agent, decide Minamino stance and Davies nears exit

Liverpool are expected to sanction a number of incomings and outgoings to help Jurgen Klopp reshape his squad in the summer transfer window.

The Merseyside club will bid to reclaim the Premier League title next season after suffering a miserable defence of their crown last term.

They have already added Ibrahima Konate to their ranks, forking out £36million to prise the young centre-back away from RB Leipzig.

But it is unlikely Reds chiefs will be done there, as reports suggest they are eyeing up a number of other targets.

So we're on hand with the latest Liverpool transfer gossip below.

Camavinga approach

Manchester United have registered their interest in highly-rated Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer.

However, Anfield Central are reporting that Liverpool are now attempting to hijack the deal, with Reds officials contacting the 18-year-old's agent Jonathan Barnett over a potential move.

They already have a strong relationship with Barnett, who brokered Konate's transfer earlier this summer – which could hand them a serious advantage over bitter rivals United in the race for his signature.

Minamino stance

Takumi Minamino faces an uncertain Liverpool future after struggling on loan at Southampton in the second half of last season, and Goal are reporting that the club would be open to selling him.

The Japan international fell out of favour at St Mary's despite scoring twice in his first three outings, meaning he is unlikely to have convinced Klopp that he deserves game time at Anfield.

Should the right offer come in for him, it is believed Liverpool chiefs would be prepared to cash in on Minamino this summer.

Davies exit

Another player potentially on his way out of Anfield this summer is Ben Davies, who only joined Liverpool back in January.

The defender completed a shock £2million move from Preston whilst Klopp was crying out for defensive cover with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip nursing serious injuries.

Yet despite their injury crisis at centre-back, Davies failed to make a single appearance for the Reds in the second half of last season after struggling with his own fitness problems.

As a result, The Sun are reporting that he is poised to leave Liverpool, with relegated side Sheffield United keen to sign him on loan.
