Manchester United and Liverpool are said to among the clubs considering making a move for 20-year-old Valencia winger Ferran Torres.
Torres, who came through the academy at Valencia, has established himself as one of the most promising young players in Europe, and had scored four goals and created four assists in La Liga this season before it was suspended.
His impressive form has seen a number of top clubs display an interest, and according to Goal United and Liverpool join the likes of Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Ajax, Juventus and Dortmund in weighing up a bid for the player.
Torres' current contract expires at the end of next season, and he is said to be reluctant to sign a new deal, meaning Valencia may reluctantly choose to sell him in the summer rather than letting him go for free next year.
He has a release fee of €100m (£87.8m), but there is a strong possibility clubs may be able to sign him for significantly less than that figure.
As well as impressing in La Liga Ferran also played a starring role in Valencia's Champions League campaign, and scored and created an assist during their last-16 defeat to Atalanta, while he also netted in the group stage win over Lille.
Valencia academy's director of recruitment Jose Gimenez recently waxed lyrical about the player, saying: "He’s powerful, quick, steady with the ball at his feet and strong in the air. He’s unpredictable.
