Jack Grealish's brilliant form with England and Aston Villa has put him at the top of Manchester City’s transfer targets.
And Pep Guardiola‘s men could be launching a £100million double raid on Villa Park next summer – with former Etihad midfielder Douglas Luiz also on their radar.
Grealish, though, is very much the main focus of City’s attentions now as he continues to impress this season.
The Villains skipper has been superb in the first couple of the months of the campaign, scoring four times in seven league outings.
That has convinced City that the Three Lions playmaker, 25, would be the perfect addition to their squad next June
Whether they can persuade £70m-rated Grealish to leave his beloved Villa so soon after signing a new five-year deal last August remains to be seen.
The fact that he has now broken into the England set-up, thanks to dazzling displays for Dean Smith’s Midlands men, may mean he opts to stick rather than twist going into the Euros.
Meanwhile, City are also considering a swoop to bring back Luiz, 22.
They sold the Brazil playmaker to Villa for £15m in July 2019 but insisted on having a buy-back option on him of £25m.
