Gary Neville slaughters Jamie Carragher as he reacts to Alisson mistake for goal

Gary Neville couldn't help but poke fun at his Sky Sports colleague Jamie Carragher after he moaned in disappointment at an Alisson mistake.

Liverpool were very much in the match with Manchester City and drawing 1-1 before a series of clangers from the Brazilian shot-stopper handed the away side the points.

Alisson misplaced a pass to Phil Foden, who quickly set-up Ilkay Gundogan to score before moments later misplacing another pass to Foden, who assisted Raheem Sterling to net.

To pour further salt in the wounds, Foden bagged himself a goal of his own to make it 4-1.

After Alisson's initial mistake, Carragher let out a loud sigh in disappointment.

Neville picked up on the noise, and made a point to bring it to Carragher's attention, while laughing to himself as he provided commentary for Sky Sports.

Neville added: "I'll make that my ring tone!"

Alisson is usually a very safe pair of hands for Liverpool, and missed the Reds' 1-0 defeat by Brighton last time out with illness.

The keeper returned for the big one against Manchester City, and was in good form in the first half before dropping his guard after the break.
