Gary Neville has made his feelings about Manchester United clear following their shock 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils struggled all game as Wolves created the best chances and David de Gea was forced into making several stunning stops to keep Ralf Rangnick’s side in the match.
But after weathering the storm for 82 minutes, Joao Moutinho eventually rifled it past the Spanish goalkeeper to snatch Wolves’ first Old Trafford win in 42 years.
And Sky Sports pundit Neville immediately took to social media to voice his disappointment at yet another poor Man United display in an overall dismal season.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “It’s not good. It really isn’t!”
The Man United legend’s criticism was short but poignant as the side fell further behind in their top-four ambitions for the season.
With United currently in seventh, it came as a jarring reminder that the club has a long way to go despite the fact many had expected new manager Rangnick to make an instant impact when he took over in early December.
His Red Devils side were wasteful in possession from the start as de Gea was called into action to deny Daniel Podence and Ruben Neves early on.

De Gea continued a sensational performance by saving Nelson Semedo’s strike, while Phil Jones also enjoyed a standout display despite it being his first appearance since 2019.
On the other end of the pitch, Bruno Fernandes had United’s best chance in the 67th minute when he struck the crossbar with a first-time effort from 20-yards.
Superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t able to make an impact aside from a header which was ruled out for offside, while also missing a volley set-up by compatriot Fernandes.
Wolves’ Romain Saiss came close to breaking the deadlock next by striking the bar with a free-kick, but it was Adama Traore’s trickery out-wide which eventually saw the ball fall to Moutinho for the winner.
United suffered their sixth league defeat of the season and will now turn their attention to their FA Cup third round clash with Aston Villa on Monday.
