Jamie Carragher has been heavily criticised online for his behaviour at Soccer Aid after lashing out at Tom Grennan and Kem Cetinay during the chairty match at the Etihad Stadium.
England took on the Rest of the World in the 10th instalment of the charity event, and the World XI ran out 3-0 winners on the night.
Despite the nature of the occasion, Carragher took the match very seriously and couldn't withhold his emotions, which has angered fans.
Many fans took to social media to let their feelings known, as the former Liverpool and England defender was targeted following his actions.
Carragher was tasked with marking former Love Island star Cetinay, who came out on top as he scored twice against the English side.
Before Cetinay's second, Carragher kicked out at the star after the pair tussled, as he seemingly kicked his leg into his opponent's chest, and this was already after slamming into musician Tom Grennan, leading fans to turn to Twitter.

One user said: "Kem has bantered Carragher so much to a point where Jamie is throwing a hissy fit on the pitch."
Another added: "Recorded Soccer Aid and just watched it Carragher was embarrassing. Totally lost it 'cause [Tom] Grennan and Kem played well against him. Used to like him but that was pathetic behaviour."
Another angry fan said: "WTF… Jamie Carragher literally just smacked Kem in the face when he was through on goal then. What's his problem?! It's a charity match mate!"
Some fans did see the funny side though: "I'm crying Carragher is fighting for his life against a Love Island star."
It's not the first time that the Monday Night Football star has caused controversy in a charity match, as it seems that's just the way he likes to play, no matter how it looks.
