A clip showing Erling Haaland trialing an outrageous shooting drill in training with Borussia Dortmund has gone viral on social media with Gary Lineker left stunned. Since bursting onto the European scene with Red Bull Salzburg just under two years ago, the Norwegian striker has established himself as a deadly marksmen.

His form with Salzburg in the first half of the 2019/20 season, where he scored an incredible 28 goals in just 22 games with eight coming in the Champions League, soon saw a host of European clubs swoop in to make a move.

Borussia Dortmund ultimately won the race for his signature in a deal worth £18million, which has proven to be a bargain.

In the German Bundesliga, Haaland has continued to find the net on a regular basis and this season already has seven goals and four assists in just five matches.

Haaland is clearly a natural-born finisher with a god-given talent to find the back of the net at an exponential rate.

But, like every other superstar footballer, Haaland also hones his craft on the training pitch.

Team-mates and managers have waxed lyrical about Haaland’s talents behind closed doors.

And fans don’t often get to catch a glimpse of their favourite players on the training pitch other than pictures and short clips.

But more videos are readily put out there on social media by clubs and players and Bundesliga’s Twitter account have shared a short clip of Haaland showing off his talents.

The Dortmund striker places three balls on top of each other on the penalty spot with a clear bullseye target in the top-left corner of the goal.

Showing amazing control, Haaland lifts his left peg to strike the top ball into the top corner with ease.

Stepping back, Haaland then repeats the process again with the middle ball, which breaks the bullseye target.

And he finishes the remarkable drill by smashing the third and final ball before wheeling away in disbelief at his own achievement.

Haaland lifts his hands to over his head before kneeling down with a huge grin on his face.
