New Manchester United signing Donny van de Beek has been seen in the club’s new third kit for the first time.
United faced Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly on Saturday and donned their new black and white striped kit.
Van de Beek, who signed from Ajax, started the match at Villa Park along with the likes of Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford.
And though plenty of Red Devils supporters are not fans of the third kit, many were happy to see the Dutch midfielder in the strip.
One wrote on social media: “ONLY DONNY COULD MAKE THIS SHOCKING KIT LOOK ALRIGHT”.
Another added: “Don't think it looks that bad looks better with black shorts”.
While a third wrote: “Can't wait to see Van De Beek in that Zebra kit”.
And, in a similar theme, a fellow Red Devils fan put: “I smiled when I saw Don Beek, boom!”
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping for big things from Van de Beek, with the Dutch star the only Red Devils signing of the summer so far.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes Harry Maguire Man Utd captaincy decision
Solskjaer said: "He is a versatile, intelligent player, has loads of energy and enthusiasm.
"He is developing all the time, he scores goals. We need to add goals from midfield, our forwards scored quite a few goals last season, Bruno [Fernandes] came in and scored goals but we need goals throughout the squad and the team because we didn’t score enough to be challenging at the top.
