Crystal Palace vs Liverpool predicted line-ups: Team news ahead of Premier League clash today

Palace sit 11th heading into their match against Liverpool on Sunday

Liverpool have won each of their last nine meetings against Crystal Palace, scoring 29 goals in the process.

Palace have conceded 13 times without reply in their last Premier League three games against Jurgen Klopp’s side – an awful run which includes the 7-0 defeat at Selhurst Park in December 2020.

But this is a new and improved Palace team under Patrick Vieira. Although they may sit in an all too familiar position in mid-table, the quality of the football has significantly improved under the Frenchman.

And they will be hoping for the sort of scalp they managed at the Etihad against champions Manchester City earlier this season when they meet Liverpool on Sunday.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the fixture tonight.

Prediction

Liverpool are reminded of ‘Crystanbul’ every time they travel to Selhurst Park – the scene of their diminishing title hopes in 2014. They looked to be missing Salah and Mane a great deal in the first leg of their Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal, but improved a little in the victory over Brentford. But Palace need a result after just one win in five and might be catching Klopp’s side at the right time. 2-2.
