Arsenal could have reason to believe they can beat Manchester United and other rivals to the signature of Corentin Tolisso this summer.
The Gunners and United are reportedly among the clubs weighing up a swoop for Bayern Munich midfielder Tolisso when the transfer window re-opens.
But Arsenal could have the edge, as World Cup winner Tolisso has previously said the Gunners were one of the teams that made him "dream".
“Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal," he told France Football in 2017.
“I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it.”
Arsenal and United are joined in the queue for the France international's services by Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli, according to Foot Mercato.
Tolisso has fallen out of favour at Bayern since Hans-Dieter Flick took charge in November, with the French international having started just seven Bundesliga games under the new manager.
Before that the central midfielder's progress was hampered by injuries, and the 25-year-old is believed to be considering a fresh start away from the Allianz Stadium.
Foot Mercato reports that Bayern are ready to sell Tolisso, who they signed for £37million in 2017.
