Week 15 is here, and once again, owners are going to have to make some tough start ’em, sit ’em decisions at the flex position to stay alive in the fantasy playoffs. With running backs like Christian McCaffrey, Raheem Mostert, James Conner, and Ronald Jones all dealing with injuries, new potential RB2s could emerge, and at the very least, if any of those players miss time, owners will have some different flex options to consider. Our Week 15 fantasy flex rankings will look at some of these potential sleepers and streamers in good matchups.
Because of the injuries to the aforementioned four RBs, players like Jeff Wilson Jr., Benny Snell, and Leonard Fournette could all prove valuable as handcuff stashes. If the players in front of them are out, all will be in consideration for top-60 flex spots, and that will surely make them viable starters. Beyond those potential RB2s, there are plenty of other high-upside WRs to take advantage of in great matchups.

As always, matchups can serve as tiebreakers when dealing with a difficult decision at the flex spot. Some of the best ones of the week include the 49ers WRs vs. the Cowboys, Washington’s WRs vs. the Seahawks, Bears WRs vs. the Vikings, Colts RBs vs. the Texans, and Ravens RBs vs. the Jaguars. Sleepers in those matchups, such as Kendrick Bourne, Cam Sims, Darnell Mooney, Nyheim Hines, and Gus Edwards, can certainly be streamed or used in NFL DFS contests.
WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
If you’re looking for a flex play with big-time upside to help either make up a deficit or boost the ceiling of an already-consistent lineup, going with a potential boom pick at WR, like Marquez Valdes-Scantling (vs. Panthers), is the way to go. If you need a higher floor because the rest of your lineup is a bit boom-or-bust, go with an RB that gets touches, like Phillip Lindsay (vs. Bills). Also, make sure that once you make your lineup decision, you plug in your player with the latest start time into the flex spot. That will add some flexibility in case you have to pivot to another option due to a last-minute injury or if COVID has an impact on any of the games.
