Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson named starter for 2023 season

Indianapolis Colts rookie Anthony Richardson has been named the starting quarterback for the 2023 regular season, head coach Shane Steichen announced on Tuesday.

Selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Richardson has impressed Steichen enough through one preseason game to earn the role. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound rookie is an intriguing prospect for a coach who helped formed Eagles QB Jalen Hurts into an MVP candidate last season.

Around The NFL will have more on Richardson being named the starter in Indy soon.
