Big Ten live streams: How to watch 2021 college football games online without cable

The Big Ten has been well represented in the College Football Playoff in the past few years and on the national stage, and fans of the conference’s 14 teams will once again have plenty of chances to see one of the nation’s most dominant and oldest conferences in action.

College football’s oldest Power 5 conference has plenty of streaming services for fans to watch their favorite programs, from Ohio State at Minnesota on Sept. 2 to the Big Ten Championship game on Dec. 4.

The conference may have its share of intrigue this year, especially around Ohio State given the Buckeyes will be starting a freshman under center in CJ Stroud.

The inexperience at that position could be just enough for the likes of schools like Penn State, Wisconsin or Iowa to eke their way up the conference standings, maybe pull off an upset and surprise for a Big Ten title berth along the way. The Nittany Lions are one of the hottest teams in football having won their last four in a row to end the season after starting 0-5 while Minnesota returns one of the nation’s top running backs in Mohamed Ibrahim and all eyes will likely descend on Ann Arbor and Lincoln to see just how long Jim Harbaugh and Scott Frost stick around at Michigan and Nebraska, respectively.

Sporting News has you covered on how to watch all those games and keep up with all those storylines, all without the need for a cable subscription:

How to live stream Big Ten football games

Cord-cutters have myriad ways to get their Big Ten fix. Several games will air not only on the considerably large ABC family of networks, but also Fox and CBS, all of which have their own dedicated streaming sites. The Big Ten Network will also broadcast several games as well, falling under Fox for streaming purposes.

Here’s a rundown of how to stream the 2021 Big Ten season, which started Aug. 28 and runs through the conference championship game on Dec. 4

National broadcasts

The Big Ten will have several national broadcasts throughout the year on the ABC family of networks (including ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU), Fox and CBS.

Games appearing on ABC or ESPN will stream on the ESPN app and the ESPN website. Fox will stream games at Fox Sports Go or its website. All 15 CBS games will stream on Paramount+ — a rebrand of CBS All Access — in 2021.

Every Big Ten game that appears on the aforementioned stations and the Big Ten Network will also be available to stream on fuboTV, which offers a free seven-day trial to new subscribers.
