Evander Holyfield reportedly wants a third fight with Mike Tyson, though it has been claimed that Iron Mike is ‘scared’.
Tyson returns to the ring later this month as he takes on Roy Jones Jr in an eight round exhibition bout.
Tyson and Holyfield did meet twice during their careers with former cruiserweight star Holyfield coming out on top both times.
Their second bout is infamous for Tyson biting a chunk off Holyfield’s ear, resulting in disqualification.
Despite that incident, TMZ claim that Holyfield, 58, is keen to fight Tyson again and offered a trilogy fight multiple times.
Though there is a suggestion that 54-year-old Tyson is frightened of the fight with Holyfield himself training for an exhibition.
A source told TMZ : "It's not even about the money at this point, I think Tyson is scared.
"We've offered multiple times and Tyson vs. Holyfield is the fight that should happen."
Holyfield and Tyson have made up since their infamous bout in 1997 with Tyson previously suggesting he would be up a third meeting.
