Jake Paul has described Conor McGregor as “way easier” to fight than Floyd Mayweather, criticising the UFC star for “not having the hunger anymore”.

The YouTuber has been taking digs at The Notorious for the last three months, urging the MMA fighter to sign on for a $50m fight.

But the 24-year-old has also taken aim at Money, who saw off the Irishman in the boxing ring three years ago.

And the YouTube star held nothing back on McGregor in his comparison of taking on the two fighters.

Speaking on the I AM ATHLETE podcast, Paul said: “Conor, Conor is way easier than Floyd.

“Conor is way easier than Floyd and Conor, just like Ben Askren is doing currently, Conor will underestimate me, he'll come into the ring, be like 'this is an easy payday'.

“He just doesn't have that hunger anymore, that's why he got starched in his last fight, it's because he has everything.

“He doesn't need to fight for s*** anymore.”

Paul has only fought professionally twice, beating fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib and former NBA player Nate Robinson last year.

And his next fight is already lined up, with the YouTuber set to face former MMA fighter Ben Askren in April this year.

But he has been targeting McGregor for a fight on social media, taking aim with some savage videos calling the UFC star a “chicken”.

The 24-year-old took it to a strange level, though, when he isolated McGregor’s wife Dee Devlin on Instagram.

Paul has a way to 50-fight unbeaten boxer Mayweather, though, as his brother Logan is still meant to be taking on 43-year-old.
