But after completing his media duties, McGregor’s first port of call was to head from Abu Dhabi to the nearby Dubai to spend some quality time with his family.
The Notorious posted a video on his Instagram page of he and his son in diggers on the beach as the job to rebuild his career began.
‘Back on the sites, it happens the best of us. We’ll build it back #DublinMiniDiggers’, McGregor wrote alongside the video.

The post showed McGregor sounding in high spirits as the pair relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company, lifting the Dubai sound around with the mechanical machines.
McGregor posted previously to praise his opponent for his victory, with a photo of himself with his leg elevated, after revealing the Poirier’s brutal showing left it swelled up to the size of an American football.
McGregor had hoped a victory over Poirier would set up a rematch with arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, having lost to the Dagestani in October 2018.
