Disgraced Boris Becker talks one-night stand with model that ended his marriage

Disgraced former tennis player Boris Becker has opened up on the one-night stand he had with Russian model Angela Ermakova in London that ended his marriage.

The six-time Grand Slam winner has spilled all about the impact of his fling with Ermakova in London restaurant Nobu while his pregnant wife at the time was in hospital. Becker is set to feature in a tell-all two-part documentary called 'Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker'.

In the documentary, the 55-year-old reflects on his eight months in prison after being found guilty of four charges under the Insolvency Act and the breakdown of his first marriage. His ex-wife Barbara will appear in the revealing documentary on AppleTV.

The one-night stand happened in June 1999 after the German tennis player had been knocked out of Wimbledon by Pat Rafter. The match was Becker's final game before retiring from the sport.

His ex-wife Barbara had checked into hospital experiencing discomfort while pregnant with the couple's son Elias, while Becker was out in London after his final match.

In his 2003 autobiography, Becker revealed details about the fling and he recalled: "She (Ermakova) looked directly at me, the look of the hunter that said, 'I want you'. There she was again, walking twice past the bar. And again this look.

"A little while later she left her table for the toilet. I followed behind. Five minutes small talk and then straight away into the nearest possible place and down to business.

"Afterwards she went off, I had another beer, paid and went back to my hotel. As there wasn't any news from the hospital I went to bed around 2am. In the morning I went to Barbara: the pains were a false alarm. We packed up our things and left England. As to the consequences of the previous evening I didn't have a second thought."

Becker previously revealed that they had sex on a flight of stairs between the bathrooms.

However, eight months later Becker received a letter from the Russian model telling him that she was pregnant and he flew to London to meet her. The former tennis player has now re-lived the moment in the new documentary, he says: "She came in, she had a big coat on. She took the coat off and she was heavily pregnant.

"You just can't believe it. The wake-up call came very late."

Ermakova gave birth to Becker's daughter Anna in March 2000 and the tennis star was divorced from his wife Barbara a year later. The three-time Wimbledon champion admitted that the fling contributed towards their divorce. He said: "Certainly my straying hastened the split with Barbara.

"Every time we discussed things there was this killer argument – what happened in London. I couldn't handle this and my other problems all together any longer."
